Live GPS Tracking

What live tracking actually shows you.

Not a dot on a map an hour late. Position, speed, engine state and battery voltage, straight off the OBD-II port.

On your phone

Position, speed and voltage in one glance.

The bottom sheet carries the numbers that matter — current speed, battery voltage and whether the engine is running — over a full-screen map of where the vehicle is right now. Tap through to the trip in progress without leaving the screen.

  • Current speed and heading
  • Battery voltage, so you know the vehicle will start
  • Engine on or off, live
  • Street address, not just coordinates

On the web

Every vehicle on one map.

The web dashboard puts the whole account on a single map with a filterable list beside it. Click any vehicle to pull up its live card — status, last location, speed, battery and odometer — without losing the overview.

  • All vehicles on one map
  • Filter by status: moving, idle, parked, stopped
  • Click through to any vehicle’s live detail
  • Same data as the phone, no sync step

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Still curious? Email support@motowatchdog.com — a real US-based human responds, usually within an hour during business hours.

How often does the location update?

Roughly every 30 seconds while the vehicle is moving. When it has been parked for a while the tracker drops into a low-power reporting interval to protect the battery, and wakes the moment the engine starts.

How accurate is the GPS?

Around 5 metres in open conditions. Accuracy degrades in underground parking and dense downtown blocks, the same as any GPS receiver, and recovers as soon as the vehicle has sky again.

Is live tracking really free after I buy the tracker?

Yes. Live tracking, history, alerts, geofences and reports are all included for the life of the device. There is no subscription and no premium tier.

Does it work outside the United States?

Yes — 170+ countries with no SIM swap and no roaming charges. Plug it in wherever you land.

Can more than one person watch the same vehicle?

Yes, and there is no limit. Each person gets their own login, and you choose what each of them is allowed to change.
